The year was 1974 and it was the last time a Russia girl won the Versailles Poultry Days 'Miss Chick' Pageant! That honor belonged to Chris Sherman pictured above, who later became Chris Baugher! This year the Poultry Days Committee has issued a challenge to young women from all area communities to become the 2018 Miss Chick by offering the largest cash prize in contest history! The last winner from Bradford was 1995, Minster was 1993, St. Henry was 1992, and Ansonia was 1982! The deadline for entries in May 30th and for more information, click here!
